Metaphonica is a collective of sound artists founded by Rob Muir and Cat Hope. The duo formed METAPHONICA in 2005 on receipt of a BEAPworks research grant into sound and mobile phones. Since then, they have completed three major installations, completed presentations on thier work at research forums and competed a refereed white paper soon to be published in the Totally Huge New Music Conference proceedings publication, Sound Scripts.
